
Recordings on the Scottish Voices label (1):
In 2021, Scottish Voices began issuing recordings on its own label, in addtion to its recordings on other labels in the UK, the USA and Australia. The first of these recordings (SV-0732068-998080) was of two works:
(1) Alexander Kastalsky’s Requiem for Fallen Brothers, in Graham Hair’s chamber version for choir and string quintet, sung by Glasgow’s Russian choir Russkaya Cappella (with the McOpera String Quintet of Scottish Opera), directed by Dr Stuart Campbell; and


Recordings on the Scottish Voices label (2):
The second CD (SV-0732068-998087) on the Scottish Voices label (“Crossing Musical Frontiers”) will be issued in the summer of 2023, and will consist of a number of vocal works by composers born and/or educated and/or resident in Scotland and in the Scottish diaspora abroad, along with contributions from friends and collaborators, set to texts in several languages by contemporary and/or historical poets, as well as instrumental interludes by friends and collaborators.
